MILLERSVILLE, Pa. - The Lock Haven women's soccer team (0-1) opened its 2026 season on Thursday afternoon and fell to Millersville (1-0) on the road by a 4-0 decision.
The contest was shorted with just over 11 minutes to go due to lightning and was deemed complete.
The Ville jumped out to a 3-0 advantage after 45 minutes of action, before scoring the final goal of the match in the second period. The Marauders led the contest with 10 shots on goal.
Devon Mason racked up six saves in her Bald Eagle debut in net. The Haven totaled three total shots, led by one on goal by
Maci Shaffer.

The Bald Eagles remain on the road and will travel to Slippery Rock for their Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) opener on Sunday, Aug. 30 at 2 p.m.
