ROCHESTER, N.Y. - The Lock Haven volleyball team traveled to Rochester, N.Y. to compete on day one of the Roberts Wesleyan Tournament on Friday, Sept. 4. Lock Haven soared to a 3-0 victory over the host, 25-13, 25-19, 25-15.

Lock Haven controlled the match from the opening serve, earning a 25-13 victory in the first set. The Bald Eagles continued their strong performance in the second set, 25-19, before closing out the sweep with a 25-15 win in the third.

With the victory, Lock Haven improves to 2-3 on the season and Roberts Wesleyan falls to 1-3.

Gracelynn Wolzen led the Bald Eagles with 12 kills, while
Maddie Mitchell and
Payton Stanton each added seven.
Demi Ross recorded six service aces, and
Reagan Irons and
Natalie Acevedo contributed two apiece.

Natalie Gibson paced the Lock Haven offense with 21 assists.
Olivia Taylor added eight assists and led the team defensively with 18 digs. Gibson finished with nine digs, while Irons added five.

Maddy Fox and
Avery Smith each recorded two blocks, and Stanton added one.

Next up for The Haven:
The Bald Eagles return for day two of the Roberts Wesleyan Tournament in New York and will compete in a pair of matches at 12:15 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. against Redeemer (Canada) and Georgian Court.
