LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - Patricio Zapata scored the go-ahead goal in the 73rd minute and the Lock Haven men's soccer team rallied past Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West foe Seton Hill for a 2-1 victory on Saturday afternoon at Hubert Jack Stadium.
The Bald Eagles (2-3-4, 1-1-0 PSAC) trailed 1-0 after the Griffins (3-4-2, 1-1-1 PSAC) broke through in the 52nd minute, but Lock Haven answered twice in a six-minute span to secure its first conference win of the season.
Austen Veach pulled the Bald Eagles level in the 67th minute, redirecting a feed from
Danny Ogan past Seton Hill goalkeeper Jannik Reiss. Zapata then delivered the winner in the 73rd minute, finishing off an assist from
Owen Lichtenwalner.
Lock Haven held a 9-6 advantage in shots and a 4-1 edge in corner kicks, while
Reece Kordes made one save in goal for the Bald Eagles.
The match featured 10 yellow cards and one red card.
