NEWARK, N.J. – Former Lock Haven men's wrestling standout Chance Marstellar earned a spot in the 2026 Final X to compete for a chance to represent Team USA men's freestyle team at 79 kg.
Marstellar earned his spot in the 2026 Final X with an impressive performance at the 2026 US Open. Marstellar picked up a 6-0 victory over Patrick Kennedy in the semifinals before a 7-3 win over Evan Wick in the final.
Marstellar was a two-time All-American and a member of the 2023 Senior World Team.
He will face Penn State's Levi Haines for the first time in any competition in a best-of-three series. Haines was the 2025 U23 World Champion and 2025 World Silver Medalist to go along with his two NCAA Championships.
Final X is set for Friday, June 19 at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey with a scheduled start time of 12:30 p.m.
