LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Former standout-student athlete as a member of the Lock Haven softball team, Casey Carpenter, has been named the Assistant Athletic Director and Head Softball Coach at Wilkes University.
Carpenter served as the assistant coach at Wilkes since 2021 and helped guide the program to three playoff berths between the Landmark and Middle Atlantic Conferences, 19 All-Conference selections, and three NFCA All-Region selections.
As a Bald Eagle, Carpenter was a five-year member and two-year captain of the Bald Eagles, earning All-PSAC First Team honors in 2019. She finished her career with a .275 batting average, .516 slugging percentage, 28 home runs, and 95 RBIs.
Carpenter graduated with a degree in health and physical education in the spring of 2021.
