MILLERSVILLE, Pa. - The Lock Haven women's basketball team continued its remarkable season with a commanding 75-51 road victory over Millersville (12-12, 8-10 PSAC) on Saturday, extending the Bald Eagles' winning streak to 12 games while improving to 18-5 overall and 15-3 in PSAC play.
The PSAC East first-place Bald Eagles showcased their balanced offensive attack, with four players scoring in double figures.
Alana Robinson led the way with 18 points on efficient 8-of-14 shooting, adding five rebounds and three blocks.
Jenadia Jordan contributed 16 points, seven rebounds and five assists while going 5-of-7 from the free-throw line.
Madeline Evans secured a double-double by dominating the glass with a game-high 14 rebounds to go with 12 points, while
Lacey Kriebel went 3-of-4 from beyond the arc for nine points.
The game's turning point came in the second quarter when Lock Haven used a dominant 22-9 scoring advantage to transform a tight 14-13 deficit into a comfortable 35-23 halftime lead. The Bald Eagles shot an impressive 63 percent from the field in the second period while holding Millersville to just 25 percent shooting.
Lock Haven's defensive pressure proved decisive throughout, forcing 14 turnovers while committing only 21 on offense. The Bald Eagles converted those opportunities into 13 points off turnovers while limiting Millersville's fast-break opportunities to just four points.
The third quarter saw Lock Haven pull away definitively, outscoring the Marauders 27-15 to build an insurmountable 62-38 advantage entering the final period.
