WEST CHESTER, Pa. - The Lock Haven women's volleyball team erased a two-set deficit and stormed back to defeat West Chester, 3-2, in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) action on Thursday evening on the road.

The Bald Eagles dropped the opening two sets, 25-18 and 25-22, before completely flipping the momentum. Lock Haven claimed the third set, 25-17, rolled to a 25-14 victory in the fourth and completed the comeback with a 15-10 win in the decisive fifth frame.

With the victory, Lock Haven improved to 11-5 overall and 4-1 in PSAC play, while West Chester fell to 8-9 and 1-3 in conference action.

Maddie Mitchell powered the Lock Haven attack with a match-high 17 kills while hitting .237.
Payton Stanton added 13 kills and was a force at the net, finishing with four solo blocks and four block assists.
Reagan Irons chipped in seven kills on a .333 hitting percentage.

Katelynn Olmstead provided a major spark off the bench, putting down seven kills without an error on just 10 attacks for a blistering .700 hitting percentage.
Maddy Fox was also efficient with four kills on six swings and no errors.

Natalie Gibson directed the offense with 47 assists while adding 10 digs and three service aces. Defensively,
Olivia Taylor led the Bald Eagles with a match-high 20 digs and added two aces.
Natalie Acevedo finished with nine digs and two aces.

Lock Haven finished with 58 kills and hit .244 for the match, while holding West Chester to a .147 hitting percentage. The Bald Eagles were particularly dominant during their comeback, hitting .324 in the third set and .478 in the fourth. Lock Haven also held a 57-44 advantage in digs and finished with eight service aces.

The Bald Eagles return to Lock Haven on Friday, Oct. 9 and will host Shippensburg at 6 p.m. for a PSAC East match inside Thomas Fieldhouse.
