Women’s Swimming hosts Kutztown on Senior Day

Lock Haven Women’s Swimming returned to Zimmerli Pool to host Kutztown on Senior Day

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven women's swimming team returned to Zimmerli Pool to host Kutztown on Senior Day. Kutztown won the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) meet 192-52.

Before the meet Lock Haven honored MaryAlice Craig as part of the Senior Day celebration.

Kate MacAlister took second place in the 200-yard backstroke, finishing in 2:18.77.

Gianna Gruska placed second in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:44.06). In the same event, Veronica Karboski placed third (2:56.27).

Jadyn Oswalt also earned silver in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 5:37.18.

The team of Nora Craig, Gruska, MacAlister and Karboski was less than a second away from first place in the 200-yard medley relay (2nd, 1:56.22).

MacAlister earned third in the 400-yard IM (5:14.13) and the 100-yard butterfly (1:04.04). Oswalt placed third in the 1650-yard freestyle (19:13.13) and Gruska took third in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:14.05)

Next Up:
The Bald Eagles will head to East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania to face the Warriors in a PSAC meet on Saturday (Jan. 31).
